Overview

E-invoicing is becoming mandatory across the GCC. In Saudi Arabia, ZATCA's FATOORA programme requires businesses to issue electronic invoices and, in its integration phase, to connect their invoicing systems to ZATCA's platform. The UAE is introducing its own mandatory e-invoicing framework, in which invoices are exchanged through accredited service providers and reported to the Federal Tax Authority. Getting ready touches both tax and technology: invoice data must meet the required formats and VAT rules, and your ERP or accounting system must produce, transmit and store invoices correctly. Our finance and technology teams work together to assess where you stand, close the gaps in your processes and systems, and take you through testing and go-live, so compliance does not disrupt how you bill your customers.
