How it works
Convert between more than 150 currencies at the latest mid-market rates, updated daily. The dirham table shows the value of major currencies in AED and the other way round.
The history chart uses European Central Bank reference rates, converted to dirhams at the fixed US dollar peg of 3.6725.
Questions
Why is my bank's rate different?
These are mid-market rates. Banks and exchange houses add a margin and sometimes a fee, so the rate you are offered will be a little worse.
Why does the US dollar rate never change?
The UAE dirham has been pegged to the US dollar at 3.6725 since 1997. The Saudi riyal is pegged at 3.75.
